For this project I explored the trends of Teddy Boys, from the 1950s through to the 1970s to see how they used fashion to show their power as individuals, and as a group.

My coat for this project combined traditional 1950s Teddy Boys features, including pocket placements, and coat length, along with features popular during the 1970s, especially the velvet collar and check print used.
