For this project I wanted to explore modern corsetry and the way a garment can shape the body. As well as this I wanted to explore the world of burlesque and how costume is used within a performance.

This corset was decorated with hand made motifs, and hand beaded with seed and bugle beads.

​

As well as designing and making the corset, I also designed and made the knickers to complete this look.
